Vibes that they share

she saved them from all the eyeing people,
She saved them from her little brother,
She saved them from her best friend,
Moreover she saved them from the person who loved them the most,i.e. herself.
She saved them for those butterflies flying uncontrollably in her stomach.

He came, tired from all the work at office.
They sat, had dinner and were enjoying their day all casually.
He noticed a good weird smile on her face.
He knew she was onto something,
He knew there’s something she is hiding.
But he loved her mysterious smile.
Moving towards living room, he saw her walking like a baby, a happy baby.
The weather was teasing as well,
Rain and cool breeze, white clouds giving textures to the purple coloured sky, it was all romantic.
He got into the vibe too, playing their favourite movie on tv, he asked her to come and sit with him.
She ran to her room and came running back with a closed fist.
She sat beside him and smiled.
This was it, he couldn’t stop himself and asked what’s up with her.
She made a puppy face and asked him, ’ do you want a kiss? ’

Like if she’s asking him for the first time.
He looked at her with one eyebrow up and weird face.

Ermmmmm No, He said.

Unexpectedly her face didn’t drop.
She opened up her fist, took one chocolate out named ‘kiss’ and ate it whole infront of him.
She smiled, giggled inside and started watching the movie again, leaving him all stunned with what just happened.
He started pleading for the second chocolate like a baby, and she knew it was her turn now, the ball is in her court.
She looked at him with all the love she had for him and said,’ now I want a kiss’.
It was play time for her.
She was just about to start teasing him ,when suddenly he held her face, looked in her eyes,brought her closer and, kissed her forehead.
Chills ran down her body.
It was unexpected too. Even after so many years, she still loved the forehead kisses like a young girl fallen in love for the first time.
Her fist opened up by itself, the chocolate fell in his lap, she leaned and let her head rest on his shoulder. His hand wrapped around her while their favourite movie was playing their favourite scene.
He knew he earned the chocolate. He knew, the one who loved chocolate the most ,has been loving him equally now.
He put chocolate aside, wrapped his hands around her and watched movie quitely.
They both were smiling inside, they both were happy inside, happy to find a right person and moreover happier to be found by the right person.
